About

Hi, I’m Aline.

I’ve been a web developer for a few years now, and lately I’ve been working mostly with Ruby on Rails.

Besides that, in my free time I also teach programming.

One thing teaching made me realize is that I learn a lot more when I have to explain something. When I try to organize content for someone else, it becomes clear what I actually understood and what’s still not so clear.

This space came out of that. It’s not really a blog, and it’s not meant to tell my career story or professional experience (there’s a link to my LinkedIn in the footer). It’s more of a place to organize studies, notes, and attempts to better explain concepts that come up in my day to day, mostly about Ruby, Rails, and other programming-related topics.

The posts here are mainly a way for me to organize what I’m studying. But if they end up being useful to you too, I’ll be happy about that.

Hope you end up liking Ruby and Rails as much as I do.

Cheers!
